AMEXIS.AI is the trading name of AMEXIS AI PTY LTD, ABN 64 691 344 859 (we, us, our). This policy explains our handling of personal information through our website, enquiries and business relationships.

Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with us. It may include:
- Your name, company, position, email address and phone number.
- Your website, service interests, messages and information you provide about your business.
- Proposals, correspondence, service records and account information needed for an engagement.
- Billing contact details, transaction references, payment status and limited payment-method information provided by our payment processor. Full card or bank credentials are handled by the payment provider, rather than stored by us.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages and hosting or security logs.
Please do not send passwords, government identifiers, health information or other sensitive personal information through our general enquiry form. If a service requires sensitive information, its handling must be arranged separately with appropriate safeguards.
How we collect information
We collect information directly when you contact us, complete a form, request a review or demonstration, accept a proposal or use our services. Technical information may be collected through website hosting and security systems.
During an engagement, information may also come from your authorised representatives, connected business accounts or third-party applications, tools and platforms used to provide the agreed service. If you provide another person’s information, you must have authority to do so and give them any required notice.
You may contact us without identifying yourself where practical. We may need contact, billing or business details to respond meaningfully or provide a service. Optional enquiry fields can be left blank.
Why we use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries; discuss and prepare proposals, reviews or demonstrations; deliver and administer agreed services; process payments; communicate about an engagement; maintain and secure our systems; resolve issues; and meet legal, accounting and reporting obligations.
Information handled for a client’s customers or contacts is used for the agreed service and the client’s authorised instructions, subject to law. That client’s own privacy notices may also apply. We do not treat information supplied for a client project as permission to market our own services to those individuals.
Third-party applications, tools and platforms
We use third-party applications, tools and platforms where reasonably needed to operate our business and deliver services. Depending on the interaction or engagement, these include providers of:
- Website hosting, form processing, cloud storage and security.
- Email, business communications, customer relationship management and administration.
- Payment processing, invoicing and accounting.
- Advertising, search, analytics and reporting for agreed marketing services.
- Automation and other specialist technology used within an agreed service.
We may also disclose information to contractors, professional advisers and authorities where reasonably necessary for their role or required or permitted by law. We limit disclosure to the information needed for that purpose and take reasonable steps to select and manage providers appropriately.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information for another party’s own marketing. Independent platforms may also collect information under their own policies when you interact with them directly.
Overseas handling
Some service providers store information outside Australia or allow overseas personnel to access it, including in the United States. This can occur through hosting, communications, payments and other cloud services.
Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps required by applicable privacy law to protect it. The location and safeguards depend on the provider and service. Contact us for information relevant to your engagement. We review this policy when our arrangements change, including identifying other likely recipient countries where practicable.
Security and retention
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for its purpose and applicable legal, accounting or reporting requirements. When it is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it. Retention may differ between enquiry records, client work, invoices and backups. A deletion request may be subject to these obligations.
Access, correction and complaints
Email info@amexis.ai to request access to or correction of your information, ask about our handling practices, or make a privacy complaint. Please describe the request and provide enough detail for us to locate the information. We may reasonably verify your identity before releasing or changing personal information.
We will consider your request and respond within a reasonable period. Where we cannot provide access or make a requested correction, we will explain the reason where required and any available complaint options.
For a complaint, we will review what happened and explain our response and proposed resolution. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where the complaint falls within its jurisdiction.
